Glaucoma Specialist Howard Guan, MD

Meet Dr. Howard Guan 

Dr. Howard Guan received his bachelor’s degree in science, specifically biochemistry and molecular biology, from the University of California-Irvine. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University before pursuing an internship with Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. At Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dr. Guan completed an Ophthalmology residency and a Glaucoma Fellowship at Boston University. 

Additionally, Dr. Guan has extensive research experience and has received multiple honors with the Loma Linda University Eye Institute. He is also a member of the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Glaucoma Society. 

At Prestera Eye Medical Group, Dr. Guan provides glaucoma care as a Glaucoma Specialist. He has also performed cataract and eye trauma surgery, and addresses additional conditions such as dry eye and retinal diseases.
